I constantly get suggestions for "stories" from readers that are not only not from newspapers, they're completely made up (and often very old): "urban legends" that are told again, and again, and again and again! I simply reply "www.snopes.com" with hopes the reader will go look up the story they just sent me and see how it certainly won't make it into This is True, but also realize how easy it is to research whatever rumor or fantastic "fact" they got to see it's indeed just another silly legend before passing it on as fact. Very, very highly recommended. (See also Break the Chain.)

Sojourn: The Legend of Drizzt, Book III
by R.A. Salvatore
Amazon Price:
Customer Review: I have been thrilled with the Dark Elf Trilogy and the third book definitely did not disappoint. It has a bit of a different "feel" to it than the first two because it now takes place on the surface. Drizzt finally has left the Underdark but he knows...
